Creating your first group

Groups are the core of Gighammer. Each group has its own members, events, roles, and revenue settings. You can create a group for a choir, band, sports team, theatre group, or any other organised activity.

How to create a group

  1. From your dashboard, look in the left-navigation menu and select Create Group at the top.
  2. Enter your group name and your role in the group.
  3. Upload your branding images, such as a logo and banner.
  4. Add a custom url - this will be your public URL for pages that may be made available to the public, such as your online shop

  2. Lift sharing
  3. Hiding the participant list
  4. Enabliing document uploads for your group

Branding your group

Branding helps your group feel familiar and professional across event pages, and member dashboards.

There are other options and settings you can set, but they will be done after you have created your group.
