About Gighammer

Built for the stage, not the spreadsheet

Why Gighammer?

Because managing a group shouldn't feel like a second full-time job.

Gighammer was born from a simple observation: bands, orchestras and choirs are still being run via pen-and-paper, WhatsApp groups, manual standing orders, lost email threads, text messages and outdated spreadsheets. We saw talented group leaders getting bogged down in admin tasks like chasing availability and tracking subs, losing precious time and energy that could be better spent on what really matters: making music.

Our mission is to eliminate 'admin fatigue'. We've built a platform that acts as a single source of truth, where logistics happen seamlessly in the background, freeing up group leaders to focus on their passion.

What We Do

Streamlining the chaos of live music performance logistics

Who is behind Gighammer?

Road-tested and refined by people who know the struggle.

Gighammer was founded by Ian Dobie after years of navigating the complexities of performing with various large groups at festivals and events around the UK and abroad.

Tired of the friction caused by miscommunication and manual scheduling, Ian began developing a tool that actually understands the unique workflow of a performing group. Gighammer isn't just software; it's a platform built on the belief that better organization leads to better performances.

Today, Gighammer is used by bands, orchestras, and performance groups of all sizes to keep their shows on track and their members in sync.
