Gighammer payments are powered by Stripe Bank-Grade Security:

Secure Data Management & UK GDPR Compliance

PCI Compliance: Gighammer never stores your members' credit card details.

Everything is handled by Stripe’s secure infrastructure. We believe group leaders should focus on their community, not on cybersecurity. That’s why we’ve built Gighammer with a "Security-First" architecture.

1. No Financial Data Touches Our Servers

Gighammer uses Stripe Elements, a secure, encrypted technology that "sandboxes" payment information. When a member enters their credit card details:

2. PCI-DSS Level 1 Compliance

Stripe is a certified PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. By using Gighammer, your group automatically benefits from this elite level of protection without you having to fill out complex compliance paperwork.

3. Secure Onboarding & Identity Verification

Because we use Stripe Connect, every group undergoes a "Know Your Customer" (KYC) check. This prevents fraud and ensures that your group is seen as a legitimate, trustworthy entity by global banking systems.

Security & Payments: Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does Gighammer see my bank account login details?

A: No. During the onboarding process, you connect your bank via Stripe’s secure portal. Gighammer only receives a 'token' that allows us to send payouts to you. We never see your password, your balance, or your personal transactions.

Q: What happens if a member's payment fails?

A: Stripe’s automated system will attempt to retry the payment based on a 'Smart Retries' schedule. Gighammer will notify you if a subscription becomes past due, so you can manage the member's access without having to check your bank statement every day.

Q: Is my group's data encrypted?

A: Yes. All traffic between your browser and Gighammer is encrypted via SSL/TLS (HTTPS). This means that even before the data reaches Stripe, it is protected from 'man-in-the-middle' attacks while traveling over the internet.

Q: Can I export my financial records for tax purposes?

A: Absolutely. You can generate and download comprehensive reports of all successful payments, refunds, and fees. These reports are formatted to be compatible with major accounting software like Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.

Q: Who pays the transaction fees?

A: Transaction fees are typically deducted at the point of sale by Stripe. You can choose to absorb these fees as an organizational cost or adjust your product pricing to cover them.
