Managing event responses

When members have resonded to an event, you have a few options for managing those responses as an admin

Locking responses

once everyone has indicated their availability for an event, you can lock responses so members cannot change their mind after a certain point. If you navigate to the event page, in the button control bar top right, there is a button with a padlock icon. If you press that button, the padlock will close (if it was open). This will disallow noon-admin members from adding or editing their availability through the site.

Player selection

If player selection is turned on for an event, anyone who marks themselves as available will show up in the 'available' list. However this does not mark them as actually playing/attending the event. You can press the button next to each available member to 'select' them, and they will then appear in a new 'attending' list. You can also, if necessary 'de-select' them and they will move back to the 'available' list. This feature is useful in conjunction with the 'locking responses' feature - lock the resonses, then select the players you need. Please note that if player selection is on for an event, they won't show in the aggregate statistics until they have been 'selected'.

Editing anyone

As an admin, you can edit anyone's response - even if they haven't responded. You can mark them as available or not, selected to play or not, and any other setting that the member themselves can set, including guests and driving information.
